Freevi Network was launched on December 1, 2008 as scheduled. Months planning, designing and developing have passed by very quickly and now the FreeviDev team is proud to present the base version of Freevi Network to video enthusiasts online. The soft launch went as scheduled and up to the standard. Now, the FreeviDev team is engaged into a number of upcoming feature developments that will be coming in early 2009.

Freevi is a network of professional, semi-professional, and skilled amateur film producers. Freevi Network helps producers to connect their video content with Internet video viewers, showcase their material, generate revenue through advertising, and potentially transition their video material to actual broadcast television.
Visitors can browse content filtered by channels (e.g. business, lifestyle, sports, entertainment, faith and learning) to view a wide range of professional video content on Freevi online television network. Users can register to become Freevi users to get the full experience of the site. Becoming a registered user on Freevi TV network allows more functionality, including creating playlists, commenting on videos, adding videos to a favorites section, and sharing videos with friends and colleagues.
Video producers are able to upload new video material on a regular basis to their Freevi account. This content is featured on a program details page, allowing the producer to control program descriptions, background information, cast and crew information, and anything else needed to feature their program.
